Day 3 of Leg 4 finds Team Malizia locked in a fierce mid-fleet battle, holding 5th position as the fleet pushes north. After a brutal passage through the Strait of Bonifacio – from blasting along in 40 knots to suddenly drifting in no wind – the leading pack managed to escape while Malizia and the chasing boats fought to break free along the Sardinian coast.
