Fleet compresses at Ushant after a sleepless night, as the drag race to Portugal begins. The first 24 hours of the second leg of The Ocean Race Europe delivered a rollercoaster night for the IMOCA fleet. After blasting out of Portsmouth in strong downwind conditions, the seven teams were brought to a standstill off Ushant, trapped in a transition zone where the breeze collapsed and the race reset itself.
